As A Girl, Do You Immediately Say No To This Proposal?

At age 51, when I finally decide to buckle down and get married to some unfortunate broad, I hope to God I devise a plan a little better than this.

First off, you straight up broke a Harry Potter book--that shit's just wrong. Definitely didn't even make it look neat either. Clean it up man, it's your proposal, not a test run with a box cutter. And what's with that wispy ass fabric you having holding the ring? Ball out, get some Prada brand wispy ass fabric or something. Seriously man, the 6th book was awesome. I know the chapter was aptly named, but at least cut up "The Chamber of Secrets" because frankly, that book sucked.

As a girl, if you think this is a cute method of proposal (despite the fact that it's Harry Potter), you're outside your mind and certainly aren't in consideration for wifey position in 28 years. Pfft. You can only be so lucky.

I thought it was a cute idea - you can't judge a proposal without knowing the couple. Also, I'd bet your proposal is just going to be the typical night out to a nice dinner with popping the question after. Why do men think that's a good idea? Only if you want to make your future wife feel like she's just like everyone else. At least if the guy spent hours and hours cutting away at a book for a moment of your happiness, you know he loves you. Stop being mean.

didn't know haphazardly cutting books was the ultimate sign of love. if that's the case, dudes failed miserably on valentines day.

and by time I'm 51, the girl will be proposing to me.

As a Collegiate Quidditch Player (co-captain and PR rep of the team), and also as a beautiful diva, I can sincerely say this guy would win me over immediately. ... The wispy rope is dumb, though. Use a silver chain--open your wallet.

P.S. Proposals are boring. Fact. And I'm, again, a girl.

Post Postscript: The Unbreakable Vow is between Severus Snape and Narcissa Black--what's that trying to suggest with the above, semiotic picture?
